AI for Teachers: New Books
Two items came into my inbox this morning one after another, both with books-in-progress about AI for teachers.
Matt Miller of Ditch that Textbook fame has a new book in the works. Looks like it will be anywhere between a week and a month before it comes out in electronic version. He knows how to tap audience interest and deliver good advice in good time. I particularly liked his Don’t Ditch that Tech. He asks teachers to rate themselves on their tech abilities and puts them into 5 categories without stigmatizing any user. So I am on board for this new one when it comes out. Practical advice.

John Spencer is also writing a book, but it is further off. In the meantime, he has lots of resources and some advice on using things like ChatGPT. If you are into Project Based Learning and a humanistic approach to teaching, Spencer is your guy.
